'Save2pc' is a 'YouTube' and 'Google Video' download program. It enables you to save and store the movies you liked and want to keep. The program is very simple. After you select where to save the file you have to select the file type of the saved file, which can be AVI, MPEG, or FLV. The next step is to select the website from where you are downloading. Besides the two websites mentioned above you can select 'Auto'. You could choose auto if you are downloading actively from both website so you won't loose time in the future with this setting.
After finishing the steps mentioned above you have to specify the link where the desired movie is located and then press the 'Start' button. A progress bar will show you how much of your file is already downloaded. If you need to use a HTTP proxy you can do it by checking the appropriate check box and then fill in the server, port, user name, and password info.
The user interface could be redesigned by the next release to look a t least a little better. It is very intuitive though.
Pluses: It's free and it works flawlessly for those two websites.
Drawbacks / flaws: The list of sites could be extended.
In conclusion: It is a free and useful tool to use when you want to save your favorite files from 'YouTube' or 'Google Video'.
