 | | EasyCrop is a photo cropping software.
EasyCrop takes image cropping to another level. You can rotate the image in any way you like and crop the area exactly how you want to.
EasyCrop is full of features: from drag and drop to a toolbar that you can customize. You can add or remove buttons to the toolbar. The cropped image can be sharpened from the intuitive application interface, zoomed in or out and saved. The supported file formats are "jpeg" , "gif" , tiff" and "png". As for effects you have only "desaturate" and "sharpen". Both work great.
You can flip, rotate, crop and frame a image just with a few clicks. In case these wouldn't be enough, EasyCrop has built-in capture tools. You can capture screen, window, selection with timer. In 'preferences' you can choose the cursor, play a sound and even add a time stamp. The program's graphical user interface can be customized using "brush metal look" , "live preview", "extended cross-hair" , "auto move back" and "constrain rotation". Some of them come very handy, for example "auto move back". If you crop many photos, the software will move itself behind other application for faster and more comfortable drag-and-drop action.
In output options, you can apply border with custom thickness and color, preserve EXIF data ( Exchangeable Image File ), scaling quality and thumbnail icon. "Thumbnail Icon" option will add a thumbnail image as output file icon.
Pluses: full of features, easy interface.
Drawbacks / flaws: only 'sharpen' tool available for the image crop.
In conclusion: EasyCrop offers a powerful image cropping tool. I was impressed of the user interface and the possibility of customizing it .
