 | | Breakfast is an alarm clock. It can turn your computer on from Standby and then play music, load a website, display a reminder, or run a program.
Unfortunately, the program wasn't able to get my computer to resume from Standby mode. I searched for this problem in the FAQ section of the 'help' section. I found there that I needed to change my drivers and that this is a "common" problem. I guess I should also say that my drivers are from the original motherboard CD and that my computer resumes from standby just fine when I press a key.
I really don't like the user interface. A coffee cup is displayed from above, on the main window. The dialogs that allow you to set and edit alarms are also not very user friendly. It would have been nice for example, to be able to edit an alarm when double-clicking it.
Other than this, the program is quite simple to use. First, you need to specify when the alarm is triggered. Next, you can set the events that occur whenever the alarm starts. You can configure the alarm to repeat itself, or you can configure the date when it should be triggered.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: When I first started the program, it kept displaying an error about a Windows registry key.
In conclusion: Breakfast should be the main meal of the day. However, this application isn't my main choice for an alarm clock.
