 | | Nexus Radio is some cool online radio player and more. I say cool because besides the well developed GUI and features, it has an exhausting list of over 6000 online stations you can listen to.
This lovely piece of software not only gives you the possibility to listen to whatever kind of music you want to, but it allows you to save your favorite tracks by recording them in MP3 format. What can be easier? And besides the fact that you can hit the 'Record' button, you can also set the start/end time and the day of the recording. This way, you won't miss your favorite show. You can also create filter for recording tracks played by your favorite artists.
The player itself has all the features needed for a pleasant listening experience: equalizer with several presets, visualizations, audio effects (pan, speed, echo, reverb). You can listen to online radio stations and music stored on your local hard drive. In case you want to edit your MP3s, you can do it using the ID3 tag editor. You can also create and save playlists containing your favorite tunes.
The program contains direct links to the producer's website where you can join the forum, research info about radio stations, read news and much more.
Pluses: If you want to, you can choose to install the Nexus Radio toolbar in Internet Explorer in order to have a quick access to your favorite online stations.
Drawbacks / flaws: An annoying thing is the the 'Pause' button isn't working.
In conclusion: I believe this is an excellent online/offline music player. Well done!
