MyPendrivePRO is an auto starting USB Flash memory drive utility designed to ease up and manage your access to programs, documents, folders and favorites stored on that removable drive. Besides, you can use the program to make backups to folders (including subfolders) stored on your local drives.
Like I said, the program will start automatically once the USB Falsh drive is inserted. The menu is located on the left hand side of the program window. Using the menu, you can have a quick access to your favorite folders, files, executable files; that is, after you configure them in the program's sections. The program will also display the amount of free space, the amount of space occupied by data and the amount of data in the 'backup folders'. The 'Favorites' will be imported directly from Internet Explorer, but there is no option for importing bookmarks from other browsers as well.
The backup option is quite handy as it can be automated. By default, the program will perform a backup of 'My Documents' and 'My Favorites' including all subfolders. If you wish, you can manually add other folders as well. In some cases the folders you wish to backup is larger than the drive's capacity, the program might stop responding, so you'll need to forcefully shut it down. You can't make incremental backups, because, before saving files, the program will erase those stored in the previous backup.
Pluses: It can save you browsing time by creating shortcuts to your important documents and programs.
Drawbacks / flaws: No possibility for making incremental or differential backups. No warning when trying to backup folders larger than drive capacity. Program can't be shut down by clicking the 'close window' button in the upper right side of the program window.
