'AudioBook Recorder' is a program meant to help you change your text files into audio ones.
Using this program is quite easy because it consists in three easy steps. The first step is providing the text. This can be done in two ways. You can open a text file and the text will be inserted automatically or you can paste the text directly into the text area. Basically the program works just like Windows Narrator and it even uses the same old voice of Microsoft Sam. While playing the text, you can increase or decrease the speed of th reading. The trial version seems to have no limitations but it runs only four times. In my opinion it is enough because even after the first use you can see what it's capable of.
The output audio file can be saved as an MP3 or WAV file. Unfortunately, it only has one language support so I ask myself why to pay that amount of money for a program like this when I'm sure that this can be done with a free solution. This is a problem that needs to be fixed by the next release. I sincerely think that the number of features should increase.
The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, but considering the complexity of the program it couldn't be different.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: It has too few features and it's expensive.
In conclusion: I look forward for the next release hopping to see some improvements.
