'Glenlay Gallery' is a software meant to help you create photo albums. It is structured in three easy steps which should ease your work a lot. It offers 12 layouts and 10 color and background image schemes to mix and match in any way you wish. In order to use a picture you can edit, rotate or flip it. For each picture you can write a very long description so you will always know the full story of a certain picture over the years.
While testing the program I was surprised to see how easy it was to use it. In the first step you have to select the layout template and the color themes. Unfortunately for now there are only a handful of them but I hope that the next version will bring some new ones. The second step is for selecting the album name, the folder where you stored the images and a folder for your new album. This more simple than it sounds. Finally, in the last step you can edit the pictures or the descriptions while previewing you album and you can choose whether to publish the album on the web or to put a shortcut on your desktop.
The user interface could be redesigned to be more stiled because it seems very simple to me,
Pluses: It's free and it works very good.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: I look forward for the next release hopping to see some improvements. I enjoyed testing this program.
