 | | Protecting your data is needed more and more each day. There are many programs which can help you do that and I think that this one is one of them.
The program is meant to help you create an encrypted disk, apparently of any size. The size is limited only by the free space on the partition were you want to place the file root file. The number of drives that can be created seems to be unlimited as long as you have available space on your hard drive. After you've added your data to the encrypted drive, you only need to unmount it and the work its done. Without the appropriate password, nobody can see your files. The drive disappears from the list and the only visible part is the root file which can't be opened.
In the full version each drive can have a different password so in this case each member of you family can have his own private disk protected with a password.
The program is very simple to use because the part which can be considered the most difficult, creating a drive, is structured as a wizard so you are carefully guided to the process. After the drive is created you have to mount it and format it and it is ready to use. When, mounted it behaves like any other partition of your drive. The root file can be moved on different partitions or, if it is small enough, burned to a CD or DVD because it can be opened only with this program and only if you know the password.
The user interface is intuitive and the features are listed on it making it easy to use.
Pluses: It is very easy to use and works flawlessly.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: If you are interested in protecting your private data you might try this program and who knows, maybe you'll like it. I sure did.
