Password Policy Enforcer allows network administrators to create and enforce multiple Windows domain password policies. A password policy ensures that users are choosing strong (difficult to crack) passwords. PPE checks every new password for compliance with the password policy. Passwords that do not comply with the policy are instantly rejected. Password Policy Enforcer even helps users to choose compliant password.

What's new PPE v5 has six new password rules. The Minimum and Maximum Age rules are more flexible versions of the Windows password age rules. The Keyboard Pattern and Repeating Characters rules reject passwords that contain character patterns. This version also includes First and Last Character rules.
