 | | MPFreaker automatically fills the missing information in your music library.
MPFreaker is an application that can find all your missing data from your iTunes music library. It searches online for: album name, song title, artwork, genre, year, track number and lyrics. The process of filling the info is much faster with MPFreaker.
MPFreaker also has a manual editing mode for info, artwork and lyrics. If in the "automatically search" the artwork isn't found you can "drag'n'drop" any picture manually. The software was stable during the tests and filled over 200 MP3 and AAC files with different missing info. Some of the files had their artwork wrong, so an option for what album data to use would be good. Since the data is retrieved from the Web, there is a better chance to find it. The artwork and lyrics are stored inside the songfiles.
If your songs are in other directory, MPFreaker has a source drop-down list where you can chose where the files are. There is also a "log" box, that shows any changes made. If a song has the wrong info, MPFreaker can automatically "overwrite" the data.
Pluses: easy to use, automatic search and download of missing songs' info.
Drawbacks / flaws: sometimes it downloads different artwork and lyrics.
In conclusion: this software is great for filling missing info of your MP3/AAC files. It can process large numbers of songs automatically.
