Clean My Registry for U3 4.3

Clean My Registry is a simple and free application designed to help you clean your registry of junk files and entries in order to enhance your computer's performance.

The nice interface makes the program very easy to use for all users, regardless of their computer literacy level. You can scan the registry for items to scan or fix and than proceed to the problem solving. After the registry scan is complete (and before fixing problems) you can have a look at the details. Unfortunately, you can't choose which components to scan nor to export the scan details to text files. After the scan is complete all you have to do is to clean or fix registry problems.

There is also an advanced section of the program where you can find options such 'Make reg-shot' (take a registry snapshot in order to be compared with later snapshot) and 'Compare reg-shot'. You can also track the changes in the registry after you install an application in order to completely clean the registry when you decide to uninstall that application. The changes performed by the newly installed program can be exported in TXT file format.

Pluses: A very easy to use program.

Drawbacks / flaws: In my opinion, there are few features included in this program: you can't choose which components to scan nor to export the scan details to text files. No possibility for creating a restore point, as well. When I tried to create a 'Reg-shot' the number of scanned items has been the same regardless of the registry sections I chose to scan. Sometimes, when trying to take a reg-shot, the action wouldn't complete. The 'Stop' button never became active, so I had to forcefully close it.

In conclusion: If you are looking for an unpretentious registry cleaner with basic functions, you found it. In case you want something more complex, you should have a look at other products hosted on our Website.
