 | | 'Advanced Image Resizer 2007' is, as the name suggests, a software meant to help you resize your photos.
For a program containing '2007' in the name I've expected a pretty different interface. Actually, this interface looks more like '1998'. It supports drag and drop though. I encountered many programs like this with no support for that function. After you add your images you can select each one of them and the preview window will preview it gray scaled. Maybe this is only a limitation of the trial version. In order to resize your pictures you can create tasks. Each task can have different settings like image size, file caption, resampling filter, watermark, or output format. This is useful if you use a task more than one time.
The options in the 'Settings' menu are for saving, performance, update, and language. There are some things that impressed me though. One of them is the folder view. It's a very nice way of opening the containing folder. While testing the program I've tried to use the watermark but I was unpleasantly surprised to see that you can't use text watermark. The only available watermark is the image one.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: Too few features.
In conclusion: For the next release I really hope that they will redesign the interface and add some more feature or else this would be just another a dime a dozen program.
