Interface |

 | | ImageWell is a program that allows you to edit and upload multiple image files on a remote host or local directory.
The interface of ImageWell is pretty simple, while it manages to include pretty powerful features within it. It's structured into some tabs that provide you specific functionalities.
The 'Image' tab allows you to set the image size and the image quality. The 'Watermark' tab provides you the watermark functionality, so you can tag your own pictures with custom text. The watermark can be placed on some predefined places of the source image file. The 'More' tab allows you to do some specific advanced tasks.
You can output the files as JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. You can use either a custom name for the output file, or you can click the dice button which generates a random name based on a certain pattern.
On the interface you can notice the 'Locations' button. This 'Locations' functionality works as a bookmark for all your preferred connections. You can define remote connections like: FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, iDisk, or online services like flickr, ImageShack, and SmugMug. It would be nice to include the support for photobucket as well. The destination of the processed files can be a local directory too.
Pluses: it allows you to edit and upload quickly the image files; it supports various upload types; it can add watermarks to your uploaded content, URL history, the possibility to check for overwritings.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: this application is a real help for bloggers, or people who use a lot the supported image services.
