 | | Gooer RDP Service is a small application designed to help you remotely control any workstation by using a web based interface.
The program is very simple to configure and use. It uses the Windows Remote Terminal Server service and it allows you to control it securely by requesting for authentication between web client, server and host.
Using the program is simple: after installation, you need to create a free account with 'Gooer' by providing a valid email and a password. Then, whenever you wish to remotely manage your computer, you need to login to the Web interface, select your computer from the list, and do your job. However, you need to configure your firewall on the computer running the client application in order to allow incoming connections. The computer you wish to control must be connected to the Gooer server at all times.
Pluses: You can use the program to copy files quickly between local and remote PCs and you can also print files from the remote computer on your local printer.
Drawbacks / flaws: Although I only had one connection to the Web interface and one computer in the list, an error appeared saying: "Connection is max than allow ". Probably they meant, that there are more established connections than allowed in the trial version. The web interface froze a couple of times.
In conclusion: A neat application which can save you the time of installing and configuring complicated remote administration tools. But all comes with a price.
