 | | 'Batch Photo Factory', as the name suggests, can batch process your photos. The program is structured almost like a wizard. The more appropriate description would be semi-wizard interface because you have to follow six steps. They are grouped on tabs and you don't have a 'Back' and 'Next' buttons to circle between them.
Lets start with the beginning and talk about the way you can import files. There are two options: file by file or directly the whole folder. If for the file by file option the things are simple, when it comes to folders you have to know that you can't import subfolders. There's no options to let you import the subfolders of a folder along with the parent folder. Another not supported feature is 'drag-and-drop'. It doesn't work. After you add the photos you can preview them in a larger size than the thumbnails in the 'Add' menu but you can't do any adjustments to them.
The second step is the 'Frame' one. If you choose to add a frame to your photos you can select here the right frame for you or you can create one of your own.
The 'Watermark' section is the third step of the process. Here you can create one or multiple watermarks which you can use on the photos. Because this program is a batch converter the next step is the batch resize one. The fifth step allows you to convert your photo to JPG, BMP, GIF, TIF, or PNG. The last step, as usual, is the output one. Here you can make adjustments of the name and you can select the output directory.
The user interface looks good and is easy to use and intuitive.
Pluses: Easy to use.
Drawbacks / flaws: Too few features.
In conclusion: It's a good program but it doesn't brake the average barrier. If you don't find it satisfying fell free so try other ones.
