| | 'Drive Encryption' is supposed to be, as the name suggests, a software meant to help you encrypt your fixed or removable drives. According to the producer it 'is the best encryption and decryption solution', but according to me it is far away of being that.
If you have top secret data and, in case someone tries to access it, you can afford to lose it, is the best program for you. But if you want to protect and don't lose you data you might try to find something else.
While using the program I was able to encrypt a disc drive but when I tried to access tit, I was warned that the disc is not formated. Now, if I was a newbie using a friends computer and pushed the 'Yes' by mistake, it would have been a disaster. In my opinion, this program is useless. The probability of losing data is much bigger than that of securing it.
The user interface looks good and is very intuitive but unfortunately it doesn't work.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: Besides endangering your precious data, it works good.
In conclusion: I hope it will secure the data by next release.
