KDT Site Blocker 2.0

KDT Site Blocker is a useful Internet access management tool.

This program is as simple as it can be, but it serves its purpose perfectly. In order to secure the program you are prompted to choose and confirm a password when you run it for the first time. This way, you can be sure that no one will have access to your website black list. Before (or during installation, you might need to shutdown your firewall or configure it in order to allow the program to run. Some firewalls might see the program as malicious code and block it.

In order to restrict access to websites, you just have to add them to your list and save the changes. In order that the changes be effective, you may need to wipe out the 'Temporary Internet Files' and restart your browsers. Once you've added a website to the 'KDT Site Blocker' list, that site will be off limits for all the users of the computer.

Pluses: It works with all web browsers. Once you've added a website to your blacklist, you won't be able to open it no matter what browser you are using.

Drawbacks / flaws: You can't block individual pages, only domains.

In conclusion: I liked this little Internet access manager a lot. It's very easy to use and does a very good job.
