| | You might think that Exult XML is just another XML convertor. Well, truth is you would be partly right. Exult XML is able to convert any XML document into various formats, including CSV, XLS, HTML, and text. However, the program is also able to create a MDB (Microsoft Access Database), which contains the elements found in an XML file.
Exult XML works just like a wizard. When you start the program, you are a few steps away from converting any well-formatted XML file. The first thing you need to do after starting the program is to select an XML file. After you select a single file, its content is analyzed and loaded into the program.
Next, you should specify the data which you want to export. In order to help you, the program displays the number of rows next to each element of the XML file. When you click an element, a brief preview of the data it contains is shown on the bottom of the application's window. The downside is you can't resize this window, so you have to do a lot of scrolling in order to view everything.
Pluses: No XSL files are needed when exporting the data from an XML file.
Drawbacks / flaws: Even though this software works well, its price seems a bit high.
