| | YTK Lite is a Yahoo! Messenger companion designed with the purpose of enhancing the online messenger's features, provide anti-boot protection, stop malware, protect the users' privacy, provide multimedia support, provide content filtering an many more.
YTK Lite is actually the free and limited version of YTK Pro which is shareware. The program is easy to install, but not so easy to configure for novice users. The help section is comprehensive enough, but there are advanced settings who might put beginners through the test.
This program is an advanced Yahoo! Messenger customizing program. It will help you get access to Chat room settings, anti-boot options (preventing malicious chatters from disconnecting you with most "boots" known and unknown), PC 2 PC call advanced settings, privacy settings and many more.
There are lots of settings to choose from in order to completely customize your chat sessions. I want to mention here some features which I liked the most: Flush DNS Resolver Cache Entries - if you enable this feature, you will make sure that each time you connect to Yahoo! you'll have the newest/most current server addresses for cam, voice and chat. Some other cool stuff is the possibility to manage safe buddy lists and ignore lists.

In conclusion: An interesting and useful Yahoo! Messenger utility. Definitely worth trying. Since this is a beta release, issues may occur.
