The merge modes are the same as the split modes 'copy' or 'move'. The application provides you with an automatic renaming engine for your files/folders to avoid conflicts.

Drawbacks / flaws: It can't split folders that have files larger than the maximum allowed size and it doesn't warn you, it just copies the file.
