'Image Disturb' is a simple application that can do image manipulation tasks.
The program has a decent list of supported file formats. It can import them or it can create new images that are ready for editing.
The interface is simple and ergonomic. It's split into the editing area and a side bar that has all the features.
The side bar, which contains the manipulation tools, has a menu that controls its look and functionality. There you can pick one of the items, also called 'effects', like General, Image information, Image transform, Move colors, Move local colors, Smooth image, Painting, Convolution, Grayscale, and Negative. Each of these items modifies the functionality of the side bar.
Every effect can also be changed from the application's menu. That menu's items have keyboard shortcuts, so you can easily switch between the effects.
Pluses: It's free and it can do some image manipulation tasks.
Drawbacks / flaws: The provided functionality is poor. The interface can be a annoying at times.
In conclusion: The application has potential, but without any future development it isn't an alternative for other image manipulation programs. Other free tools can accomplish much more than Image Disturb. Some examples are
