'MarioSaver' is a simple screen-saver that puts Mario and Luigi on your desktop.
The screen-saver comes as a QTZ file, so double-clicking it just opens the file in Quartz Composer. If you want to install this just for your user account, you can copy the QTZ file into ~/Library/Screen Savers and if you want to install this program for everybody, you can copy it into /Library/Screen Savers.
Starting the screen-saver makes tones of Mario and Luigi characters fly around your monitor. However, it's annoying because they move to fast and I couldn't find any options to slow them down.
Pluses: It brings Mario and Luigi on your desktop. If you used to play Super Mario, then I am sure that this program will bring back old memories.
Drawbacks / flaws: The distribution package doesn't have a proper installer. It isn't a big deal to copy a file onto a specific location, but sometimes I am too lazy to do that and I would prefer an Installer.
In conclusion: If you want to refresh your screen-saver collection a little with these two characters: Mario and Luigi, then this screen-saver is a good choice.
