'FinalBurner PRO' is supposed to be a CD/DVD burner. Its disc capacity indicator even has Blu-ray marks. The producer claims that this is 'the last burner you will ever need'. After installing the program, I tried to make a MP3 CD, but I was surprised to see that each mp3 file took approximately 20 to 30 seconds to be imported. Imagine if you want to burn an MP3 DVD, you have to wait more than 6 hours to import the files. This is because each MP3 file is recompressed by default. If you want the program to move faster, you have to locate the 'Don't recompress mp3 files' and check it.
All the features are listed on its main window, but they are represented by very small icons. The only way to see what any of those buttons do is by placing the mouse over it and then looking in the program's status bar. I tried to copy a DVD with this program, but an error message appeared each time I tried, even if I changed the DVD disc I used. The same thing happened for the CDs too.
Pluses: Drawbacks / flaws: It's difficult to use and it's expensive.
In conclusion: I'll keep using
Nero. Maybe the next release will be better. I look forward to it.
