'Video Snapshot Genius' is a program meant to help you take snapshots from your favorite movies. You can take these snapshots manually or automatically. If you choose to take them automatically, you can set the number of snapshots, the amount of seconds between them, the start time, and the output settings. In the output settings you can set the aspect ratio, the output folder, the name prefix, the save format, and the quality of the output file. You can also add timestamps to your snapshots.

While testing the program, I've loaded a movie that played perfectly in Windows Media Player. However, in this program's player, the image stopped at a certain point for a few seconds, but the progress bar was still moving. A few seconds after that, the image continued to play, but it wasn't resumed. Instead, it was synchronized with the sound. While playing the 'Stop' and the 'Pause' buttons have the same functionality. They both pause the movie, and if you want to restart the movie, you have to import it again or to drag the progress bar to the beginning. Thus, I don't see any functionality for the 'Stop' button. The program crashed unexpectedly when I tried to import a video file, which was imported before, while playing another video file.

Drawbacks / flaws: It doesn't have many features and it's unstable.

In conclusion: I look forward to the next version and I hope it will be better. In the meantime, you might try this program.
