 | | 'Style Advisor' is a program that can help you decide which type of haircut suites you best, before going to your local hair stylist.
The program not only simulates haircuts for men and women, but it can add accessories such as earrings and colliers, contact lenses and make up. The program is not very difficult to use, since it works like a wizard.
To get started on a new project, you need to select and work with a passport-like image. You can add an image stored on your computer or acquire images from a camera or a twain source. Next, you need to calibrate the distance between the eyes and ears, as well as the size of your lips, so that the program can fit the haircut to your face. Then, you can select the male/female haircut and accessories. There are dozens of haircuts to choose from, each with matching make up and contact lenses.
The nice thing is that you can apply all sorts of filters or effects to enhance your project. You have access to color tools, binding tools, painting tools. All these would help you modify the templates and create the haircut you've always wanted.
The program works well and the projects can be saved in the program's own format or in different graphic file formats (JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, etc.)
Pluses: You can try as many hairstyles and make up combinations as you like, before making up your mind.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A nice and interesting software, the only thing I'm not sure is whether all these hairstyle are still stylish.
