This is an interesting application, because its functionality can be extended with various dictionaries. On the producer's Webpage, you can find details about which dictionaries are supported by this program.
There are two versions of this dictionary available in the download section: the regular version and the 'With Addons' version. The first one is recommended for updates, while the second one is recommended for first use, because it has some enclosed dictionaries. In the 'With Addons' version, you can find dictionaries like English-French, English-Russian, English-Spanish, and the opposite of the dictionaries mentioned here.
The application is fast and its results are accurate. The results also provide the phonetic representation of the words. I was quite surprised to find out that it can translate words that usually aren't included into a regular dictionary. I won't give you some examples though. This would be your homework.
The 'Preferences' panel doesn't give you any headaches, because it's quite simple and intelligible. It provides enough functionality for most users of an offline dictionary.
The main window has other features like history, notes, print, and speak.
Pluses: It's fast and quite customizable. It allows you to extend its functionality with other dictionaries. The 'With Addons' version comes with some bundled dictionaries.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: If you need an offline dictionary, this is a very good option.
