Are you afraid you won't know what your friends are talking about, when you meet them in the evening? You can try the 'Toolbar TV'. It doesn't have many TV stations yet, but I think it will. An interesting feature is the 'Videos' section. Here you find the most recent videos added to 'Google Video', 'Metacafe', or 'YouTube'. In the 'Events' section of this toolbar, you also get the hottest news from sports.
The 'Links' section is interesting, because it has useful links to a variety of programs. You can even chat with other online users. If you use multiple e-mail accounts, you have an e-mail notification service. If you enter your e-mail account details, it will notify you as soon as you receive a message. You even get weather warnings, which will provide you with information about the weather in your city or any other city around the globe. The video streaming depends on your Internet connection. In many cases, you won't need high-speed connections.
There's nothing difficult to configure to this toolbar and it's very easy-to-use.
Pluses: It has interesting features and useful links. It's free.
Drawbacks / flaws: It doesn't have many TV channels.
In conclusion: I look forward for the next release, hopping it will bring more TV channels.
