 | | First, I want to clarify that there is no connection between NoteZilla and Mozilla, the popular Internet browser. 'NoteZilla' is neither open-source nor free. It's an application that enables you to take notes, manage your appointments and tasks, and even communicate with other people on your network.
When you start the program, it's minimized in your system tray automatically. If you click the program's icon in the system tray, you can open a "notes browser" window. This part of the application should be used to manage your personal data. The "Notes Browser" contains a tree on the left. Any application that organizes data uses a tree, so this is nothing new. You can define new nodes, delete existing ones, or modify their names. Each tree node contains one or more memos (notes). It's worth mentioning that the program supports transparency and drag-and-drop operations within its user interface.
NoteZilla has an advanced search feature that makes it easy for you to find notes, by entering words found in their title, tags, or content. Another great program feature is 'Reminders'. You can use this application to schedule and display reminders, helping you meet all your deadlines.
Pluses: Its network support is possibly the best feature of this software. You can easily use it to send your notes over a network, provided that the recipient also has NoteZilla installed. NoteZilla also supports sending notes by e-mail.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: NoteZilla is a great tool for organizing information. Its features definitely make it worth keeping.
