| | HTML Editor is a web page editor, which uses the .NET Framework. It allows you to create web pages from scratch and to edit existing ones. Its interface is designed to allow you to open multiple HTML documents at the same time. Each document appears in a tab positioned above the editor panel.
This application has the potential to become a good HTML editor. The current version has some flaws, which make me unable to give it good marks. I can't understand why this software has a "Connection settings" dialog, as long as it doesn't have any features that require an Internet connection.
Anyway, I must say that the program supports syntax highlighting when editing the source code of a HTML page. This probably is the only feature that works properly.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: The program is highly unstable. Each time I start it, an error message appears. If I press the "Continue" button, the program starts. However, many of its features are not available. I can't add any of the HTML form components (button, combobox, checkbox, password field, etc.) from the "Toolbox" panel. The font selection dialog also doesn't work.
I tested this application on two computers running Windows XP Service Pack 2. Both computers displayed the same errors.
In conclusion: I'm eager to see the next version of this software.
