| | 'Cats Eye' is supposed to help you see the way cats do. The program offers six eye types along with their inverted siblings. After selecting an eye type, you can select the priority for this process and the quality. You should find something else to do while the program runs, because your computer will be entirely used up. Besides taking a long time to process the picture, it seems that the result is the same. You barely notice the minor differences. It basically is a black and white picture.
If you set it from normal to poor quality, a significant part of the right-down corner will not be processed. The program has a progress bar or maybe it just looks like a progress bar, because it doesn't work. Each time I've tested the program, I couldn't see any progress.
The user-interface is pretty intuitive and you'll find this program quite easy to work with.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: Big memory and CPU consumer. Each time I processed a picture the CPU was used 100%. (AMD Athlon 3000+, 1 Gb RAM)
In conclusion: If you want to know how a cat sees your pictures, then feel free to test this program.
