'Multi-Screen Remote Desktop' is a simple utility designed to view and control a remote desktop. The installation kit contains two separate kits: Server and Client. The computers where the server is installed will be monitored and controlled by the computer that has the Client version installed.
The program has a very nicely designed interface, but it can't be re-sized or moved. It can only be minimized. The program is very easy-to-use. If you can't figure out how to use it, the online Help section provides only one advice on how to view or control the desktops: use the pop-up menu.
Working with the program is very easy, because it doesn't have too many options. You enter the IP number of the computer to be monitored or controlled and then click 'Connect'. You can view the remote desktop in a window or in full screen mode. As for controlling the remote desktop, you can only control it using your mouse, because your keyboard is disabled. This means that you can't install software that requires a registration key or do any kind of typing. You can view and control up to nine computers simultaneously.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: You can't use your keyboard to control a remote desktop. The double click is useless as well. The program can't be run in stealth mode on the monitored computers. When controlling a remote desktop, its operating speed slows down.
In conclusion: There are many improvements to be done, if they want to make the program a competitive product on the market.
