Portable Bookmarks is a program, which I found to be very useful for carrying your bookmarks and documents, if you work on multiple computers.

It is recommended that you install the program on a mobile drive, such as a Flash pen, in order to shift your bookmarks easily between computers. The program detects all your bookmarks from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera browsers, as well as the files in 'My Documents', 'Desktop', and 'Quick launch' sections and it adds them to its database.

You can organize your bookmarks into folders and subfolders and add, remove, or edit bookmarks. If you bookmarked Websites, which require authentication, you can add your user name and password in the bookmark properties, for a quick access to that site. There is also an option for verifying and making sure the bookmarks aren't obsolete. In case, the program detects broken links, there is an option for automatic deleting them.

The program also contains shortcuts for Opera, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox. In case you have an extensive list of bookmarks, you can use the 'Search' option to find anything you are looking for quickly. The search can be case sensitive or based on different criteria.

Pluses: I liked a lot, that you can export your bookmarks and that you can protect your bookmarks with a password to ensure your privacy. You can create backups of your bookmark collections, as well as easily send your collection by email.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: An excellent program, definitely worth trying.
