Keyboard Cleaner is a simple application that gives you the opportunity to clean your Macintosh keyboard.
Even though the name gives you the impression of being in a SciFi movie, this application won't clean anything. If you are too lazy to clean your own keyboard, then this application won't help at all.
If you are too lazy to unplug your keyboard from the USB port, or unplugging isn't an easy activity, then this application gives you the means for it. Although, there is another situation when people can't unplug their keyboards, like the ones that own Mac Books.
The application displays a blank screen on your monitor. All it says is, 'Happy Cleaning! Press (Apple) + Q to get out'. That's the whole point of this application. It blocks any key input other than the combination above.
Pluses: it gives you the possibility to clean your keyboard without unplugging it.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: this is a simple and useful tool. This kind of functionality saves time too.

Keyboard Cleaner Publisher's Description
Keyboard Cleaner comes in handy when you want to clean your keyboard, but you are afraid you might trigger a command or change or delete some of your current work beyond repair and undo. Of course you could save and close everything. Sometimes however, it is just not what you want. Enter Keyboard Cleaner. It shields your desktop and intercepts every keystroke you might accidentally make. Obviously, this is mostly for people who have laptops and can't unplug their keyboards AND do not want to shutdown their laptop to clean the keyboard.
