 | | This application is designed to help you split any PDF file. Its user interface is quite simple. This makes the program quite stable and very fast. You can use it to convert large PDF documents in a matter of seconds.
A-PDF Split's user interface is in fact a single dialog window, which enables you to configure the splitting process. You also have a Settings button for configuring the more advanced settings. You can use the Settings window to set the output directory, the output format, or the security settings of the outputted PDF files.
You can define the pages which you want to extract from the original PDF file. You can even select a page range by adding a minus sign between the page numbers. The most advanced way of splitting a PDF is to define several page ranges in a special window. The splitting settings can even be exported or imported from a special file (PSL).
Pluses: It's possible to select a pattern for the filenames of the generated PDFs. You can include the start and the end page number, the number of the outputted page, and so on. By default, the program generates filenames by incrementing a number (file1.pdf, file2.pdf, file3.pdf, etc.).
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Although it's not really necessary, I recommend you read the PDF manual which is distributed along with this product. It can give you an inside of what the application can do.
