 | | 'dvdXsoft Sound Recorder XP' is supposed to record sound from sources like microphone, input line, online streaming, etc. It can create output files like MP3, WAV, WMA, or OGG. An interesting feature seems to be the scheduled recording. You can schedule to start recording on a specific day or every day of the week at a certain time (hh:mm:ss). You can also add some effects to the recorded audio.
While testing the program, I experienced some problems. Besides needing to look for most of its features, I had to search a lot for the saving path option. In my opinion, this should be listed on the main window for easy-access. During the test, the program was very unstable and many errors were displayed. In fact, I wasn't able to test the program, because it didn't work.
The user interface looks very old. It looks like software from 5-6 years ago. It's very difficult to understand the interface. It looks like the programs I've seen while using Windows 95.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: Unstable, very expensive, and ineffective. It also has low quality design.
In conclusion: I don't recommend you to download this software. I look forward for the next version, hopping that it will come with a redesigned user interface and a reconsidered placing of its features.
