 | | NetChanger is a simple utility which allows you to quickly change your network card's settings. The program is designed for people who need to change their computer's network settings frequently.
You can configure several profiles with this program. Each profile has an associated IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server address. It's also possible to define whether you want an interface to be enabled or disabled when a certain profile is applied.
The user interface looks nice. The toolbar buttons are very visible probably because they are quite big. Whenever you minimize the program, it displays an icon in your system tray. This provides an easy way of accessing the program whenever you like it.
Pluses: The program can be set to start with Windows. It can apply a certain profile automatically when it starts up. Another very nice thing about this software is the fact that it can spoof (change) your network card's MAC (hardware address).
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: NetChanger does its job just as it's supposed to. Take it for a spin and see for yourself.
