'Show Hide Invisible Files' is a simple AppleScript that toggles the possibility to see invisible files with Finder.
The script reads the state of your invisible files. It automatically detects if the hidden files are visible or not and it offers you the possibility to toggle this state.
For example, if the hidden files are invisible, when you start the application it asks you if it should show the invisible files. Otherwise, when you launch the script, it asks you if it should hide the invisible files.
I find this application very useful when you need to access your hidden files or folders. There are certain situations when seeing the invisible files is required.
Pluses: it shows you the hidden files and folders.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: if you want to know what Finder doesn't show you by default, this is a quick and good way to find out.
