| | 'Magic Burning Studio', as the name suggests, is supposed to be a CD/DVD burner. When I first opened it, I was impressed by its interface. It looks good, unlike others. You can select among 'Data', 'Audio', 'Video' types of discs or you can see the 'Utilities' directly from its nicely designed interface. It seems very easy to use.
While testing the program I've tried to burn some file to a DVD disc. After importing the files I tried to see the settings for the burning process. Among others I found an 'Advanced Burn' check box. Curiously, nothing seemed to happen when I checked or unchecked it. Maybe that function only works in the paid version. After completing all the steps, I pressed the 'Start' button and waited to see the burning progress and, of course, the result. After I saw the speed of the burning process I was sure that it couldn't be OK and something should be wrong but I was hopping to be wrong. Unfortunately I was right and the disc I inserted was as empty as it was at the beginning.
Pluses: Nice user interface.
Drawbacks / flaws: Doesn't work and doesn't support drag and drop.
In conclusion: I hope that in the new release the functionality of this program will be at least as good as the interface looks.
