'Process Audit Free Edition' is a small program designed to monitor running processes on a local or a remote machine. However, that's not the only thing it can do.
The program has a wizard-like interface. When you start it up, it will ask you whether you want to monitor processes on your local machine or on a remote machine. If you want to monitor a remote machine, you have to enter the computer's name and enter the authentication.
The next step is choosing your modus operandi. You can log and allow processes to run, log and terminate all processes, or log and terminate processes, but the latter is not trusted. You can edit the list of trusted processes, so that you can add or remove processes.
Logs can be saved in TAB or CSV file format.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: The process properties window appeared to be empty. You can only monitor a remote computer at the time. In case you need to monitor an entire subnet, the program is not of much use.
In conclusion: The program has limitations, as it appears to be the preview of the 'Process Audit Personal Edition'.
