| | Since the new generation of Zune products have large storage capacity, I thought I'd rip some of my favorite DVDs and transfer the outputs onto my player. This is how I came to test DVD to Zune converter by Xilisoft.
The interface is very simple and user friendly. The context menu and the buttons provide a quick you quick access to any of the required components and settings, and there are some quick-start tips for beginners. These things make the program extremely easy to use. You can add either a DVD folder or IFO files, select the ones you want to rip and go for it.
You can rip DVDs to formats such as: WMV, AAC, M4A, MP3, MP4, WMA. In addition. The ripping process can be paused and resumed whenever you feel necessary. And of course, you can preview the files with the inbuilt player.
You can specify custom options for the output file types: audio codecs, video codecs, bitrate, frequency, etc. There is no need to worry about installing codecs as the the program contains all the necessary codecs. Large files can be split into predefined or custom sizes.
Pluses: The program supports batch conversion: you can select all files you want to convert and Xilisoft Video Converter will automatically encode them one by one. You can create chapter or album folders in the output folder.
