| | Digital Cookbook Plus Edition is a culinary assistant, which can make your life a lot easier concerning your everyday meals, and not only. If you plan some special meals, this program can be very helpful for calculating nutrients and prices.
Enter your personal or favorite recipes and ingredients. Then use its tips and features to calculate nutrients so that you can eat healthier every day.
The program is structured in categories like recipes, ingredients, menus, cooking tips, and diets, as well as units, calendar, and diary. Each category contains nicely organized items with lots of editing options. For example, the recipes contained are grouped and you can have as many recipe groups and subgroups as you like. For each recipe, the program displays the name, its contents, the preparation method, and the nutrition facts.
If you enter ingredient prices, the program will automatically calculate the price for an entire recipe or for a shopping list. Recipes can be exported in Word format as well as printed. Actually, you can create a customized report that includes the items you want, like recipes, menus, ingredients, etc.
The calendar included in the program is very helpful in case you are on a diet. You can also use the diary to enter data related to your every day meals. There is also a user's management feature, which allows you to add or delete program users. The 'Search' utility is very well designed. It allows you to search recipes or ingredients using filters. Thus, you will find your favorite ingredients or recipes fast and easy.
The interface is well designed and it provides a quick access to all the program's features and tools. In case you get lost, there is an animated assistant ready to deliver tips and tricks about the program's features.

Drawbacks / flaws: The program proved to be unstable during testing as it crashed a couple of times and some access violations errors popped up.
In conclusion: A useful tool, especially if you are a chef.
