 | | This program's name explains this tool's purpose by itself. Deleted Image Recovery Tool allows you to search any of your hard disks or partitions for deleted image files. It uses an algorithm which detects deleted images by scanning all the sectors that belong to a certain disk or partition.
When starting the program, you have to select which disk to scan. Next, you should either choose to scan the entire drive, or you can select a certain partition to search through. The results are displayed in real-time during the scanning process. You won't have to wait for the search to complete in order to view the found images.
Deleted Image Recovery Tool displays a fixed-size thumbnail of every image it finds. It doesn't preserve the aspect ratio of the images, so it sometimes may be hard to recognize the images. I was amazed that I was able to restore images that I've deleted a long time ago.
Pluses: This software is designed for beginners. The lack of advanced options makes it a very easy to use tool.
Drawbacks / flaws: The program doesn't support batch recovery. It's impossible to recover multiple pictures at the same time. You need to restore each picture separately, by saving it to another partition.
In conclusion: Deleted Image Recovery is a simple tool, which can produce pretty interesting results.
