| | With the new generation of Zune portable multimedia players on the market, all I needed was a cool media converter. Since I have been used to the quality Xilisoft products, I thought I should test Xilisoft Zune Video Converter as well.
I found that it has an extremely comprehensive and user-friendly interface, with nice buttons that give you quick access to any of the required components. It includes a well-designed wizard for beginners as well. These things make the program extremely easy to use. You can choose to convert an entire list of files of different formats without any problems. The program will convert all files into the target format you have selected.
You can select to convert 3GP, SWF, AVI, MPEG, MOV, OGG, VOB, RAW files etc. into a large array of formats: WMV, AAC, M4A, etc. In addition, You can extract audio from all popular video formats, including MP2, MP3, AC3, RA, M4A, MP3, MP4, etc. When converting files you can pause the process and resume it whenever you want to. You can even convert excerpts from files by selecting a start and an end. In addition, you can preview the files with the built-in player.
You can specify custom options for the output file types: audio codec, video codec, bitrate, frequency, etc. There is no need to worry about installing codec as the program contains all the necessary codec. Large files can be split into predefined or custom sizes.
Pluses: The program supports batch conversion: you can select all files you want to convert and Xilisoft Video Converter will automatically encode them one by one even if these files use different settings.
Xilisoft Video converter supports multithreading. You can set the number of maximum simultaneous processes and simultaneous running processes. This means that you can convert more than two files simultaneously. The output files can be overwritten or you can choose to save the converted files in a different directory. The PSP Video Manager will help you organize your collection of files transferred on to your PSP.
