Christmas Super Frog is an arcade game where you have to help Santa.
I know it's just November but the story is somewhat enticing. Santa's sleight is broken. His gifts are all over the town. The Super Frog has to collect them before the arrival of the Christmas, in order for the children to get their presents. In fact, this is a game that brings back the old spirit of the arcade games.
Playing it is fun as long as your Mac OS won't go crazy. I say this because the game is pretty buggy. First time when I played the game I had to give a logoff to my account because my applications weren't responding.
I have tried to take screenshots, but when I was pressing the specific key combination I was advancing a level and the score was taking a negative value. That’s how I obtained my first screenshot.
I like the fact that the application has a 'Software Update' option within the 'Preferences' panel, which is very useful and needed if you try this game.
Aside of the buggy part, playing it is quite fun. You either get the present and pass the level, or you die by falling into the frozen water or when being hit by a car or present.
Pluses: is a nice game, it tries to bring the Christmas spirit and the old games spirit.
Drawbacks / flaws: the application is pretty buggy.
In conclusion: if the unstable part doesn't give you headaches and if you like old fashion arcade games then you might like this application.
