Zooom is a tool that modifies the way in which you interact with all the opened windows.
The program comes as a 'Preferences Panel' item and it works as a background process when it's started. The new item is added in the 'Other' category.
This panel gives you control over this application's behavior. The interface provides you with the possibility to change some of its options like, custom keyboard shortcuts or enable/disable some of its functions.
This application is very useful for those who are working fast with a Mac. This program improves the speed because it gives you faster control over the opened windows.
The main features of this tool are the zooming action and the movement action. This means that when holding the right combination of keys, you can move or zoom the windows by clicking anywhere on the window's area.
The clicking action that enables this application functionality is optional. This can be disabled from the 'Preferences Panel'. By disabling it, the movement or the resizing action is triggered just by holding keys down and moving the mouse somewhere over that window.
Another feature of this program is the 'Auto Raise' functionality. Enabling this action makes the application bring the windows in the front when hovering over them. The triggering time of this action can be set easily from 0.01 to 2 seconds by dragging a slider. Another setting for this 'Auto Raise' feature is 'Bring all windows in an application to the front'. I think the name of this feature said it all.
The program is flexible. Depending on the desired functionality, it gives you the possibility to use custom settings for every action. This flexibility gives you another interesting feature like the ignore list. When an application is in the ignore list by default the functionality of Zooom is disabled for that item. The panel allows you to enable particular functionalities of this program for every application that can be found into that list.
Pluses: it gives you the possibility to work much faster with your Mac, it has a flexible configuration panel, it gives you a very useful 'Ignore list' panel where you can build a list of ignored applications or ignored features for those programs.
Drawbacks / flaws: it has a weird behavior: the possibility to drag the Finder's window beyond the Mac menu. This wasn't the only application that encountered this issue.
In conclusion: this application is very useful for those who use their Mac very fast. If there's a commercial reason to move faster, then the price of this application won't matter. The benefits are much bigger than the price paid for this kind of functionality. Moreover, it isn't an expensive application.

Zooom makes moving, resizing and zooming your application windows an almost thoughtless process. It's how windows should have been made. Although these three operations don't sound like much, once you get used to using Zooom, you'll be wondering how you ever managed to live without it.
