 | | As shown in the title this software is intended to help you learn to play the guitar. If you dreamed of learning to play guitar, now you can start practice with this program. The program offers you a tab editor, songs, and lessons. In the beginning, you learn to tune the guitar. After that, the chord shapes where you learn to play an E and E minor, an A and A minor, etc. The next step is the guitar fretboard simulator where you can hear the sound of different types of guitars. When you think you learned enough in this tutorial section, you can proceed to the 'Guess the String' game and the 'Major or Minor' game.
If you move to the next step of the program, you will actually have songs on which you can practice. Here you find many songs and many more that you can download. While testing the program, I discovered that the songs in the 'Chord Groove Songs' didn't work. An error message appeared each time I tried to open one of this songs.
The user interface looks very old. It seems that the producer didn't pay any attention to this part of the program.
Pluses: Interesting lessons.
Drawbacks / flaws: Unstable and a very dull interface.
In conclusion: I look forward for the next release. Maybe it will have some bug fixes and an improved interface.
