Mine Swept is the Mac version of a well-known game, Minesweeper.
It has a good implementation and I do like the producer's attention for details. I say this, because this version comes with some bug fixes that you could find in the previous versions.
If you played this game in Windows, then you won't have any trouble with this Macintosh implementation. The producer used the same colors and the same basic idea for this game. In fact, it looks a little bit better than the Windows version.
If you never played Minesweeper then you may try this game. It's fun finding the hidden mines just by using the hints.
You need to increase your skill, if you want to finish a game fast, because it is not an easy game. Even though it doesn't require much brainpower, it does require a lot of attention and concentration.
Well, the game isn't that harsh as described above. In fact is quite fun if you aren't looking for "the performance" or "the ranking" in the best scores table. It depends on you, if you have fun playing this game or you if get annoyed by accidentally "stepping" on an hidden mine.
Pluses: it is a nice classic game and at the same time it's free.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: if you have a little timeout you may try playing this game, because some old but good things never die.

Mine Swept Publisher's Description
Mine Swept is your basic game of Minesweeper where you have this field of squares and when you click on one, it will tell you one of two things: that you just revealed a mine (at which point, it's game over) or how many mines surround this particular square. Armed with this information, you then go forth and determine which squares in this field of squares are not hiding a mine.
