Knowing the simplicity of
Acala DVD Ripper, I decided to try also Acala DVD Creator, which is based on the same idea, one button for all the conversion process.
This software is not very professional and cannot be, otherwise its meaning of being simple will be alterate. Yu just have to add the video file, and then push the sdtart button. By pushing this button it will appear the most important window from where you can make all the settings:
- target format: NTSC, PAL;
- aspect ratio: 4:3, 16:9;
- saving path;
- burn the DVD directly to a disc;
- edit the disc label;
- choose if you wish to shutdown the computer when finished;
After you decided which settings should use, push the red button to start conversion. If you didn't choose to write the files directly to the disc, you can write them separately by choosing the burning button. From here you can select the file, the disc label and then push again the red button.
With Acala DVD Creator, you are able to convert all movies to DVD movies and burn DVD movies from hard disk to DVD Disc. The support formats include *.avi; *.divx; *.div; *.xvid; *.mpeg; *.mpg; *.dat; *.3gp; *.3g2; *.mp4; *.m4a; *.mov video.
Pluses: simple and easy to use; disc burner integrated;
Drawbacks / flaws: not very professional because you cannot choose the resolution and cannot work with subtitles;
In conclusion: Useful for beginners and for all the english speakers.
