| | McFunSoft Video Capture/Convert/Split/Merge/Burn Studio is a multipurpose video application. As suggested in the title, you can capture video from various devices, convert between MPEG, RM, WMV, AVI AND DVD formats and also edit your video files by adding effects. You can also split or merge the file formats specified above.
Now let's have a closer look at the program's features: the Video capture module allows you to choose video and audio source (TV Tuner, DV input), framerate, grab frames in different formats and process videos (rotate, deinterlace, adjust image).
The conversion to MPEG and AVI files allows you to select and edit audio and video profile (format, frame size, audio bitrate, framerate, audio frequency etc.) Conversion to Real Media, Wmv and DVD uses only predefined settings.
Video files can be edited by adjusting hue, saturation, threshold, etc., by adding transformation effects such as: flip, perspective, rotate, resample, zoom, etc., by adding image effects such as: blur, sharpen, mosaic, diffuse, emboss etc. Larger files can be split into several smaller files of minimum 50 MB and files can be merged together in order to get a larger file.
Pluses: The multitude of features: video capture, conversion, editing, splitting, merging. The program has a nice graphical interface which makes it very easy to use. Advanced users can take advantage of the advanced options. You can also save your work by burning it on DVDs with custom menus.
