 | | From the first computer mouse made around 1964, the world witnessed an ergonomical revolution. The computer mouse got clever every year. In the present with mouse gesture technology you can do a lot of special tasks with such a mouse. But still there are not very easy to use.
GentleMouse represents another try to introduce new methods of manipulating the mouse. The idea is that everytime you pause the mouse, a visual command appears very shortly. In general this is the "click left mouse". If you will hover the mouse on this visual command, the left click command will be activated.
The software can detect if you can double click or right click the item you are on with the mouse. If these secondary commands appear, another two visual commands will appear. Just hover on them and the command will be activated.
If the application is active, that doesn't mean that the buttons of the mouse are deactivated. You can use them whenever you want. For the perfect control you can set the speed of appearances for this visual commands. That's why GentleMouse is perfect also for anyone with disabilities, arthritis, or Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI).
Pluses:don't need to learn any mouse gestures; can control the speed of appearance;
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Best solution for people with disabilities.
